Mettler Toledo, Actera collaborate using FBRM probes SAN FRANCISCO, CA—Mettler Toledo is working with Actera Pharma- ceuticals' product innovation lab to expand the use of focused beam re - flectance measurement (FBRM) probes in solid dosage formulation applica- tions. FBRM technology quantifies tablet disintegration profiles in situ and in real time with greater sensitivity than compendial USP dissolution testing. Foster to build HME plant PUTNAM, CT—Foster Delivery Sci- ence broke ground on a 32,000-square- foot cGMP-compliant hot-melt extru- sion processing facility here.
