who request them. ese studies pertain to the personal issues Legislators grapple with, such as Critical Insights into the Husband- Wife Relationship; and Five Biblical Characteristics that Define a Good Person. Other studies encourage personal growth in the faith, including Is Salvation by Faith Alone in Christ Alone? Still other studies offer a biblical perspective of current issues and affairs such as What Does the Bible Teach in Regards to Property Rights?; and Joseph, Daniel, and Mordecai Speak About the Senate Takeover. e written studies are offered so that Public Servants may read and study them at their convenience, and so that they may grow in Christ. To grow in Christ, people must hear the Word. Every week Ralph and Danielle walk the Halls of Congress hand delivering copies of printed Bible studies to the offices of 535 Legislators, meeting with people and building relationships. As we move into our next 20 years, Capitol Ministries is working to expand the Congressional ministries. We also envision ministries in the White House and in the federal judicial branch of government and are prayerfully working toward those goals. is is a vital time in our nation for bold and strong biblical ministries that refuse to compromise on God's Word or dilute His messages in order to avoid offending those who do not want to be confronted by their sins or acknowledge their need for a Savior. e only hope our nation has to reverse its ethical and moral plummet is for our leaders to hear the Word of the Lord and obey it. Today, with our mission more vital than ever before, our resolve remains strong to fulfill the Great Commission by boldly proclaiming the Word of God in the Halls of Congress to the leaders who need to know Him and whose decisions chart the very course of our nation. "S chedule and me are the toughest things for a Member of Congress, and the Capitol Ministries' Bible study is a protected me on my calendar. It is extremely important to me. The Bible study provides an in- depth look at God's instruc ons with many of the things we in Congress are dealing with. Being in the Members Bible study gives me the opportunity to sit down with other people who are very strong in their faith and discuss the pressures of the job, challenges on our families, the future of the country, and recognize that not only are you not in this alone because you've got God who is looking out for you, but you are not in this alone because you've got other children of His who are right there with you who are experiencing the same things. Capitol Ministries is an important part of many people's lives." Aus n Sco U.S. Representa ve Georgia 8th Congressional District
