Obi, a former chemistry tutor- turned-clerg yman, and his wife, Martha, a former pharmacist, have ministered together for many years to take the Word of God to their nation's leaders. e couple served as Special Assistants to Nigeria's immediate past president from 2007 to 2015, and Obi also served as the President's chaplain in the State House where many Christian Public Servants worshiped. Currently, Obi and Martha are individually ministering to former and current Legislators and politicians and holding Bible studies when possible. e couple also ministers to Civil Servant fellowship groups, which are numerous. As much as possible, Obi adapts and uses Ralph's Bible studies, which he describes as "rich and comprehensive." "We have chosen to be part of Capitol Ministries having seen the need to more effectively reach our politicians and top civil servants with the life transforming Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through Bible studies," Obi said.
