In addition to the written studies, we are privileged to lead two very spirited, exegetically in-depth in-person Bible studies every week of Session, one with U.S. Senators and another with U.S. Representatives. Taking the Gospel to kings and the leaders of nations is the game plan that God provided in the Bible as an important component to bring about the Great Commission. And indeed, using this game plan a rag-tag team known as The Apostles "turned the world upside down" in the first century. With a mission To Make Disciples of Jesus Christ in the Political Arena of the World, Capitol Ministries is using that same game plan to turn the world upside down today. For it is through Christ that real change begins. When the hearts of leaders change, a nation will change for good hearts make good laws. To God be all the glory for the things He is doing through this, His ministry, "H ow has Capitol Ministries aided my service to the United States of America? It has aided me in my prepara on, the Bible study has guided me to deeper, more meaningful discernment of God's Word as it relates to serving in the government . . . because this is a tough job. The lessons learned in the fellowship of believers have prac cal applica ons that aid in resis ng and avoiding tempta on. Certainly, Capitol Ministries has aided me in terms of discipleship. Capitol Ministries Bible studies have given me growing confidence to spread the Good News. So where is the impact of Capitol Ministries felt in my life? Frankly, everywhere.
