(a round, white or gray ball in the sky) ¿Qué creen que significa la palabra llena en  luna llena ? (Possible answer: A full moon looks like a full circle.) Explain how the moon can also appear in shapes that are parts of a circle. Then invite students to tell how the  luna llena  and  Tierra  look alike and how they look different from each other. The shape of the moon is big and round, Display this card near a Word Wall or in the Science Center so that students can practice these words and make them part of their everyday language. Refer students to the word list when they are reading, writing, or engaging in a science activity.
