Developing Greatness43 Conference Champions in last 8 yearsAmaeChi OSelukwue RObert JaCkSOn InGer FrOySedal Chen Edri Since Kevin Robinson returned as an assistant to the U of M in 2002, his athletes have provided Conference USA with 43 individual conference champions, beginning with throwers and continuing with his entire team since 2006. Throwers have accounted for much of the title accumulation, beginning with Gaute Myklebust, Robinson’s first All-American, and ending with Steffen Nerdal’s string of dominance, the throwers have accounted for 28 of the program’s C-USA titles since 2002. Nerdal leads all Tigers with eight conference titles throughout his career. Knut SyverSen The 2011 edition of the Tiger track and field team returns two conference champions. Senior Knut Syversen won the indoor shot put in 2009, over the more-celebrated Nerdal, and senior Robert Jackson took home the outdoor 110-meter hurdle crown in 2010. Sivan Aballi - 5 -
