Taylor, a former women’s tennis player at the University of Virginia, is in her first year as the assistant coach for the Lady Tigers. She previously served as the volunteer assistant for the U of M women’s program during the 2009-2010 season. Taylor, a graduate of St. Mary’s School in Memphis, went on to a very successful playing career for the Cavaliers at Virginia, where she was team MVP (1992), team captain (1993-94) and an All-ACC performer (1993-94).
