mclub hall of fame 40 | 2011 MEMPHIS WOMEN’S TENNIS EXPERIENCE Women’s Tennis 1992 1997 2000 2005 MClub Hall of Fame Stacy Seamans-Muzii (1980-83) Bonnie Dondeville Farley* (1963-65) Annika Ewaldson (1987-89) Christina Ladyman (1998-01) *Only Female tennis player to play on the men’s team Bonnie Dondeville-Farley —Became the first woman to compete on a men’s athletic team in the United States… Went undefeated as part of the No. 1 doubles team… Won the title in the No. 5 spot in the Men’s Tennessee Intercollegiate Championship in 1963. Annika Ewaldson—Ended her career with a 100-45 record in singles play and a mark of 63-58 in doubles…A member of the Dean’s List for six semesters. Christina Ladyman—Completed her career ranked second on the singles victory chart and earned All-Conference USA honors in each of her four seasons, 1998-2001…. Came to Memphis to follow in the footsteps of her late father, Henry, also a M Club Hall of Fame honoree. Stacy Seamans-Muzii—Lettered each of her four years and never played below the No. 3 position… Received virtually every honor offered at Memphis, including the Elma Roane Award for being the top senior female athlete.
