Memphis faced eight teams ranked in the top 75 in 2010 with the most notable individual win being Ashley Murdock’s downing of 87th-ranked Stephanie Kent from Yale. Courtney Collins also produced key victories against top-ranked national competition and C-USA opponents, finishing 5-1 in conference. In doubles, Collins and Kelly Gray recorded a team-leading 15 wins at the No. 2 slot while Murdock and Marjorie Ondeck tallied 11 wins as a pair for the second consecutive year at the No. 1 position. Other highlights included an 8-0 run by Kelly Gray, which acquired her C-USA player of the week honors in April, and at the conclusion of the spring slate, both Murdock and Collins garnered all-conference honors for their successes on the court. Each netter tallied 17 wins, tying them for the team-high.
