Memphis returned to the postseason for the first time since 2008 behind a strong finish to the spring. The Tigers finished third in the River Landing Intercollegiate before earning a runner-up finish at the C-USA Championship behind Jonathan Fly's individual medalist performance. The Tigers' strong resume earned them an at-large berth into the NCAA Central-Indiana Regional, where they posted rounds of 292-297-304 to finish 11th.
