Jonathan Fly fired rounds of 67- 73-69 to capture the individual title at the 2011 C-USA Men's Golf Championship and lead Memphis to a second-place finish—the program's highest finish since the inception of the C-USA Championship in 1996. Fly's medalist title was the first individual conference championship since Clint Clement's victory in 1996.
Memphis came up just short of its first-ever C-USA team crown, finishing two strokes shy of champion UCF, but the performance earned the Tigers a berth in the 2011 Central- Indiana Regional.
