Erwan Vieilledent joins the Tiger golf program this fall aſter spending one season at Shorter University in Rome, Ga. He competed in 10 tournaments for Shorter and carried a scoring average of 75.2 while posting four top-10 finishes. Vieilledent was a member of the French National Team prior to coming to the United States. He advanced to the Final 16 of the 2009 British Boys Championship and placed second in the 2008 French Junior Championship and 17th in the 2009 French Amateur.

John Luke Tyner was the highest-ranked player in the state of Tennessee in the class of 2011 according to Golfweek Magazine and the Junior Golf Scoreboard. He ranked as the 92nd-best prospect in the nation according to Golfweek. Tyner shot a final-round, seven-under-par 65 to win the 2010 Tennessee State AAA Championship and finished second in the 2010 Tennessee State Junior Amateur with scores of 65-71. He placed in the top- 20 in both the 2010 Southern Junior Amateur and 2010 AJGA Nashville Junior Championship and was a 2011 Southern Amateur qualifier.
