2009 C-USA Champions MORE 32 The 2009 University of Memphis women's soccer team entered the season looking to become the first Conference USA team to three-peat as C-USA champions. Entering the C-USA Tournament as the three seed, the Lady Tigers faced an uphill climb of three games to an unprecedented third-straight championship. In the finals, Memphis faced UCF. The Lady Tigers were aggressors from opening kick and claimed a 3-0 victory over the Knights to claim their third-straight C-USA Championship. Lizzy Simonin, Averi Hallman and Vendula Strnadova each tallied goals for Memphis to give the Lady Tigers an automatic berth into the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship. Isenhower was named C-USA Tournament Offensive MVP and Hildebrandt and Tori Dalton joined her on the All-Tournament Team. Kuhar-Pitters earned C-USA Tournament Defensive MVP honors after collecting shutouts in the semi-finals and finals. 2011 Memphis Women's Soccer Experience
