PHIL CHAMBERLAIN (1988)
Played No. 1 singles for the Tigers during the 1973-76 seasons. He was the Metro Conference singles and doubles champion in 1975 and 1976 and helped the Tigers to a No. 18 national ranking in 1975. He served as the head coach of the Memphis men's tennis program from 1999-2004.
STEVE MANSOUR (1990) PHIL CHAMBERLAIN
Went undefeated in Metro Conference play from 1978-81 in singles play and lost only once in doubles play. Aſter 20 years of professional tennis, Mansour moved back to the Memphis area and is a lifetime member of the United States Tennis Association.
HENRY LADYMAN HENRY LADYMAN (1992)
Was the first import player from Australia. Ladyman compiled an overall record of 63-10 in his four years at Memphis and led the team to two Missouri Valley Conference titles.
KEITH WEST (1996)
Came to the Tiger tennis program at the age of 16. As a sophomore, he gained the No. 1 position and won the NCAA Indoor Championship in singles. West finished his career with an overall record of 124-41 in his singles and doubles matches.
