The Tigers got off to a hot start in 2007-08, finishing in the top-10 in all four fall events. Memphis ended the year with its first NCAA postseason appearance since 1988, earning an at- large bid to the NCAA East Regional aſter finishing third at the C-USA Championship. Head coach Grant Robbins was named the 2008 C-USA Coach of the Year. Members of the 2008 NCAA Regional team included Robbie Greenwell, Brandon Bunn, Ian Rochester, Brad Benjamin and Kyle Ritchie.
