Memphis returned to the postseason in 2011 behind a strong finish to the spring. The Tigers finished third at the River Landing Intercollegiate, before earning a runner-up finish at the C-USA Championships on the strength of Jonathan Fly's individual medalist performance. The Tigers' strong résumé earned them an at- large berth to the NCAA Central- Indiana Regional, where they posted rounds of 292-297-304 to finish 11th. Competing for Memphis at the regional were Jack Belote, Jonathan Fly, Grant Milner, Steve Lee and Lexus Keoninh.
