PROGRAM NOTES Students must earn a grade of "C" or better for all courses required within the program. Overall program minimum G.P.A. = 2.00. The student will develop skills in eight functional areas: Introduction to Law Enforcement, Law and Legal Matters, Patrol Procedures, Traffic Control, Crime Scene Management, Community and Police Relations, Report Writing, and Police Proficiency Skills. At the conclusion of this program the student will have completed all requirements of the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training (AzPOST) Board standards established to certify police officers in the State of Arizona. PROGRAM NOTES Students must earn a grade of "C" or better for all courses required within the program. + indicates course has prerequisites and/or corequisites. Overall program minimum G.P.A. = 2.00. ADMISSION CRITERIA Must meet AzPOST minimum requirements for a law enforcement officer and meet any physical requirements by the Academy Director.
