Prerequisites: Valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate, or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with instrument rating and the appropriate category and class of airplane used in the course; and Flight Instructor Certificate- Airplane. AET270HH / 1 CREDIT / 3 PERIODS CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR: INSTRUMENT HELICOPTER LAB Flight experience in a helicopter designed to provide flight proficiency and aeronautical experience requirements necessary to pursue adding an Instrument Helicopter Rating to an existing Flight Instructor- Helicopter certificate. Prerequisites: Valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate, or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with instrument rating and the appropriate category and class of helicopter used in the course; and Flight Instructor Certificate-Helicopter. AET273 / 2 CREDITS / 2 PERIODS MULTI-ENGINE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR: AIRPLANE-GROUND SCHOOL Aeronautical knowledge and practical teaching necessary for the addition of a multi- engine rating Flight Instructor Certificate, as set forth in the current Private and Commercial Multi-Engine and Flight Instructor Multi-Engine Practical Test Standards. Prerequisites: Valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate, or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with instrument rating and the appropriate category and class of airplane used in the course; and Flight Instructor Certificate- Airplane.
