MUP132 / 2 CREDITS / 3 PERIODS CLASS PIANO II Continuation of Piano I with emphasis on elementary piano techniques including major and minor scales, transposition, improvisation, and sight reading. Prerequisites: MUP131 or permission of instructor. MUP133 / 2 CREDITS / 3 PERIODS CLASS VOICE I Introduction to the fundamentals of vocal production. Emphasis on breathing techniques, tone production and performances in class of solo vocal literature. Prerequisites: None. MUP134 / 2 CREDITS / 3 PERIODS CLASS VOICE II Continuation of Class Voice I including the elements of stage presence and diction. Prerequisites: MUP133 or permission of instructor. MUP150 / 1 CREDIT / 3 PERIODS COMMUNITY CHORUS A mixed chorus with emphasis on college/ community participation and preparation of a variety of choral literature for public performance.
