I'm Mary. I teach middle school and have a fun biography project planned for my students. I want them to start by writing a bio of a famous person, but the project won't stop there. They will also need to dress up as that person, get into character, and play the role of that famous person as I conduct interviews with them. Just as theater can bring a story to life, this role-playing activity will be a fun way to learn about some of the people who have shaped our history and those who mold our future. They will need some resources to take on this task and really get to know their subjects, so I've put together a list they can use. We will be looking at the art, history, music, and geography that the Native Americans created. There is so much to learn about, and it's all so interesting. Our teacher put together a list of resources available in the classroom and the library we could use for the project. I can't wait to get started. 42 CALL 1-800-877-GALE FOR INFORMATION
