KIDS TO PARKS DAY
It's the Na onal Outdoor Day of Play! Join us for The Na-
onal Park Trust's 9th Annual Kids to Parks Day. Across the
na on, Kids to Parks Day brings thousands of children to
local parks to learn about nature and experience outdoor
recrea on. In Carson City, Kids to Parks Day also marks the
first event of our Junior Ranger Program! Join us for a fun-
filled day of outdoor ac vi es, such as environmental edu-
ca on booths, guided hiking, arts & cra s, yard games,
and more! All KTP Day ac vi es are FREE to the public, but
remember to bring lunch money for the local Food Trucks.

watching a movie in one of our beau ful parks. Movie will
be shown in a neighborhood park at various loca ons
around Carson City. Catch the one that is closest to you!
Bring blankets and chairs to sit out on the grass. All movies
are FREE to the public.
COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE
Sell those household items you no longer need, along with
dozens of other community members at an event which
will bring lots of shoppers. Purchase a "shop space" at the
Carson City Community Center Parking Lot or in the grass
nearby. Items le at the end of the day can be donated to
local chari es. "Shop spaces" include two parking lots
spaces (18'x18') or a grass space located by the parking
lot. Grass spaces will require carrying items a short dis-

parks and open space property that require maintenance
to keep clean and usable for the public. Many volunteer
