High-shear mixers
Vantix high-shear mixers range from the SM-5 pilot-scale
unit that handles 1- to 5-liter batches to the SM-600 unit
that processes 600-liter batches. Each mixer features a side-
mounted variable-speed chopper, a bottom impeller, and an
easy-to-use PLC. Options include an automatic or manual
spray system, a jacketed kettle, a NEMA explosion-proof
motor, an automatic CIP system, and an agitator/impeller
lifting system. Company also offers technical service and
spare parts.

Pneumatic receivers
P-series pneumatic receivers are ideal for pharmaceutical
applications that require a high degree of sanitation and can
be used for gain-in-weight or loss-in-weight feeder applica-
tions such as indirect or direct loading of blenders/mixers
with difficult flowing powders and APIs. Receivers are easy
to clean and disassemble and are available in WIP and con-
tainment designs. Pneumatic receivers are available in mod-
els P10 (10-liter capacity), P30 (30-liter capacity), and P100
(100-liter capacity).

Pivoting mixer
VMC-1000 VersaMix triple-shaft mixer has a 1,000-gallon
working capacity and features a pivot-design, single-post
hydraulic lift that raises the mixing elements from one ves-
sel, rotates 90 degrees, and lowers them into another vessel.
This design allows operators to discharge the finished prod-
uct in the first vessel while mixing a new batch in the sec-
ond. Pivoting mixer design reduces overall processing time
and minimizes downtime while simplifying the mixing,
discharging, and cleaning operations. Mixer is available in a
range of models with working capacities from 1 quart to
2,000 gallons.
