amy morrison < volunteer Coach < 6th season Amy Morrison enters her sixth season with the Memphis women’s soccer team as a volunteer assistant coach. Morrison had previously served as an assistant coach at both Kansas and Texas Tech.In Kansas, Morrison coached with the Kansas Olympic Development Program for two seasons and also coached for two clubs, the KCFC Dynamos and the KC Strikers. She currently coaches club soccer for the Collierville Lobos. Her last collegiate coaching job came in 2002 when she served as a volunteer assistant at her alma mater, Kansas. Prior to her coaching stint in Lawrence, she held the post of assistant coach at Texas Tech for two seasons from 2000-01. A three-year letterwinner and a two-time captain for the Jayhawks from 1995-97, she was a member of the inaugural women’s soccer squad at Kansas in 1995. Prior to her time at KU, she was a letterwinner her freshman season at Tulsa. While at KU, she also interned with the Senior Women’s Administrator and the soccer program in 1998. Morrison was awarded the National Coaching Diploma in 1998 and the Advanced National Coaching Diploma in 1999 from the National Soccer Coaches Association.
