This 13-year- old Wheaton Terrier comes to work every day with Rhonda Correia, the floral designer at Lyonshead Gallery in Carmel Valley Village. In addition to helping create unique and beautiful works of floral art for events and homes, she greets customers there to peruse the gallery's painting and sculpture business, plus those coming in to taste the wines of Twisted Roots Winery. "She greets all customers with her precious personality," Correia says. "Maggie is just a sweet girl, very loving." But she can get up to some playful mischief as well. "She sometimes likes to lay on the flowers as I'm trying to work with them." Brady T he Corgi part of this Corgi and Papillon mix means that Brady was bred to be a herding dog. He comes into Pak Mail at 5th and San Carlos in Carmel every day with owner Jack Patterson. Brady has a funny habit: "I think because of his herding instincts, he startles some people because he barks with someone is leaving," Patterson says. "He thinks they're sheep leaving the herd. But he means no harm. He's just alerting me…he barks with his tail wagging. I tell him, 'It's ok, Brady. They get to go if they want to.'" Customers love him though, and many bring him snacks.
