Hamburg, Germany Keyona Neal Keyona Neal helped to set a program record in the 4x400m relay (3:37.45) and qualify the team for the NCAA East Preliminaries. Neal also ran the 400m in outdoor competition, picking up a first-place finish at the Joey Haines Invitational (55.31) and setting a personal best at the Memphis Invitational (54.27). BIO Meag an Nichols Meagan Nichols competed in two indoor meets. Nichols set two personal bests in the 3K (10:41.76) and 5K (18:44.50) at the Conference USA Indoor Championships. BIO Erica Owen Erica Owen picked up two top-10 finishes in the 3000m steeplechase in the outdoor season. Owen took second in a time of 11:32.53 at the Mississippi Open. She posted a personal best in the event (11:24.29) at the Conference USA Outdoor Championships. BIO Xenia Rahn Multi-Event Xenia Rahn set the school record in the heptathlon and took gold and All-Conference USA first team honors at the C-USA Outdoor Championships. Rahn tallied 5,325 points, breaking her own record of 5,047 points set at the Mississippi Open earlier that season. Prior to the 2012 season, the program���s heptathlon record of 4,849 belonged to Victoria Crawford set in 2004. Dis t ance In indoor competition, Bronte��� Smith took first place with a time of 8.16 in the 55m hurdles at the SEMO Redhawks Invitational. Smith captured first place in outdoor competition at the Memphis Invitational, running 14.24 in the 100m hurdles. Her personalbest 100m mark of 14.05 ��� set at the Conference USA Outdoor Championships ��� qualified her for the USA Junior National Outdoor Championships. BIO Nandia Taylor helped set a school record in the distance medley relay (11:49.49) and score points at the Conference USA Indoor Championships. Taylor recorded four top-10 finishes in the 800m in outdoor competition, setting a personal best of 2:13.07 at the Memphis Invitational (second place). BIO University of Memphis
