To date, 13 Tigers have made it to the big show, with several going on to multiple honors and awards in the major leagues. Former Tiger Charlie Lea is one of three Montreal Expo pitchers to throw a no-hitter and was a 1984 All-Star for the Expos. Cliff Politte won a World Series ring as a member of the 2005 Chicago White Sox. Most recently, Dan Uggla earned a 2010 Silver Slugger Award and is a two-time All-Star, as well as being the Florida Marlins’ all-time home run leader.
