In March of 2011, the Memphis marketing squad hatched a plan to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis. In an effort that was equal parts “embracing a glorious grooming practice and raising money for a good cause.” Mustache March was begun to great fanfare. The baseball team all grew mustaches for the entire month (except for Coach Rock, who shaved his signature ‘stache off) and donations totaling nearly $1,800 dollars were collected for the Ronald McDonald House.
