Overheard at the 2019 SFA Business Summit The SFA's 2019 Business Summit took place April 7-9 in Chicago. Over the course of the three-day event, industry experts spoke on topics like digital transforma- tion, finance, the importance of brand storytelling, and more. Kearney "First, architect the culture you want, then hire the people you need." —Robert Glazer, founder and CEO, Acceleration Partners Germany is Partner Country of Summer Fancy Food Show Germany will be the partner country for the 2019 Summer Fancy Food Show, taking place June 23-25 in New York City. "It's wonderful to have Germany as our partner country for the 2019 Summer Fancy Food Show," says Phil Kafarakis, presi- dent of the Specialty Food Association. "The German Pavilion will showcase an array of outstanding specialties and innova- tive products from across Germany. While much of German cuisine is well- known in the United States, there are wonderful new products we look forward to tasting at the show." The German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture is organizing the joint company presenta- tion in the largest pavilion the country has ever hosted at a Fancy Food Show.
