NCAA Nashville Regionals (36-27) 2007 NCAA TeamADAM AMAR The Tigers returned to the NCAA Tournament following a 12-year hiatus, earning an at- large bid for the first time in the program’s history in Daron Schoenrock’s third season at the helm. Wins against top-10 opponents such as Clemson and Rice, and series victories against top-25 power Tulane bounced Memphis into the NCAA East Regional. First baseman Adam Amar (.358) and shortstop Michael Murray (.375) each hit above .350, with Amar wrapping up his career with a school- record 192 RBI.
