NCAA Midwest Regionals (52-11) 1994 NCAA TeamJEFF INCE NATE WEIMER Posting its first-ever 50-win season, the Tigers advanced to the Championship round of an NCAA Regional for the first time since 1981. Speed was of the essence for the ’94 squad, which eclipsed the previous stolen base mark by swiping 151 bags (40 more than the previous total), a mark that stands to this day. All-American Mark Little broke six single-season records and was the Great Midwest’s Player of the Year. The Tigers eventually fell in the NCAA Regional final to eventual NCAA Champion Cal State-Fullerton, but not before knocking third-ranked Oklahoma State out of the tournament.
