A dominating right side hitter, Marija Jovanovic was the complement to Altrese Hawkins all season. She finished the year ranked eighth in the conference with 3.23 kills per set and also recorded seven double- doubles for the Tigers. Jovanovic was the team's anchor during its 11-2 preseason start and was named to the All-Tournament team in each of the four preseason tournaments.
