recognizes these honorees for efforts including

foodservice and propelling Creole and Cajun
cuisine into the international spotlight.

uring the 2018 Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City,
the Specialty Food Association honored two industry pio-
neers for their exemplary efforts in growing the specialty food
market, improving the Association, inspiring companies, and nurturing
individuals.
"The mission of the SFA's Lifetime Achievement Awards is to
celebrate those whose careers have grown the industry and inspired others
to do the same," said Phil Kafarakis, SFA president. "This year's inductees
include a chef who became a seasoning superstar, and an importer instru-
mental to introducing cheese and specialty foods to the Midwest markets."
