The Memphis Madness three-point shooting contest is always competitive, but in 2011, the intensity level increased with the number of returning three- point shooters on the roster. There were Chris "Clutch" Crawford and Charles Carmouche, who hit several clutch treys a year earlier, participating in the contest. Then, Will Barton – who improved his percentage from the arc – and Wesley Witherspoon and Drew Barham joined the battle. But, in the end, the three-point contest winner was Antonio Barton, who entered the 2011-12 season as the Tigers' most accurate three-point threat, hitting over 40 percent from the arc the previous year.
