Aſter a hard-fought 4-3 loss in the series opener, Memphis roared back with two impressive wins to take the series at No. 7 UCF. The series win marked the highest-ranked opponent the Tigers had beaten in a series and also the first series win over a top-15 foe since 1988. The Tigers scored five runs over their final three at-bats in Saturday's 6-5 win, and a Chase Joiner complete-game shutout clinched the series on Sunday.
