Leedle, a native of Franklin, Tenn., has been in the Tiger program for the last two years but has found himself behind Michael Goodlett, who played his final game as a U of M footballer in the fall of 2009. Leedle assumed the starting netminder job during the spring and proved to be a steady force in goal for the Tigers. Hunter, a transplant from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, has played for the Sunderland AFC U18 squad prior to arriving in Memphis. Leedle and Hunter replace Goodlett, who ended is career with the third-best career goals against average in the program’s history. Goodlett finished his final campaign with Memphis in 2009 with a 1.27 goals against average in 16 starts. He racked up 59 saves and had six clean sheets in 2009.
