Specialty food consumers are more likely to watch cooking shows than
non-specialty food consumers. Whereas cooking competitions are the most
frequently watched, they do not watch these any more frequently than
non-users. They do show higher viewership of three other types of shows:
cooking and recipe demonstrations; local television stations and/or local
chef shows; and cooking or food-related travel shows.
