NO NAME The 1985 season saw the Tigers back in the NCAA tournament field aſter missing the post season in 1983-84. The Tigers were a No. 6 seed in the Midwest Regional and fell to three seed Auburn, the No. 10 team in the country, 82-64 to end their season in the first round. Highlight wins in the 1985 season included a 91-74 win over No. 21 Miami, one of six nationally- ranked teams the Tigers would face. The 1985 season marked a growing point for the NCAA women's game, as games appeared on ESPN for the first time in women's championship history. Regina Street capped her Tiger career with a first team All-Metro Conference honor (her second in as many seasons).
