FON247 / 3 CREDITS / 3 PERIODS WEIGHT MANAGEMENT THEORY Comprehensive study of genetic, physiological, psychological, metabolic, and environmental influences on body weight. In- depth study of the theories of body weight with emphasis on distinguishing between behavioral and biological approaches. Focus on discovering successful healthful long-term weight management strategies. Prerequisites: FON100 or FON241 or permission of instructor. FRE - French FRE101 / 4 CREDITS / 4 PERIODS FRE 1101 ELEMENTARY FRENCH I Basic grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary of the French language. Includes the study of French culture, practice of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Prerequisites: None. FRE102 / 4 CREDITS / 4 PERIODS FRE 1102 ELEMENTARY FRENCH II Continued study of grammar and vocabulary of the French language along with the study of French culture. Emphasis on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Prerequisites: FRE101, or FRE101AA, or permission of Department or Division. Completion of prerequisites within the last three years is required. FRE201 / 4 CREDITS / 4 PERIODS FRE 2201 INTERMEDIATE FRENCH I Review of essential grammar of the French language and study of French culture. Continued practice and development of reading, writing, and speaking skills. Prerequisites: (FRE102 or FRE102AA with a grade of "C" or better), or two years of high school French with an average of "C" or better, or permission of Department or Division. Completion of prerequisites within the last three years is required. FRE202 / 4 CREDITS / 4 PERIODS FRE 2202 INTERMEDIATE FRENCH II Review of grammar, continued development of French language skills, and continued study of the French culture.
