Shane Keely came to the University of Memphis aſter attending the University College of Dublin. As a result of NCAA transfer rules, the Dublin, Ireland- native sat the 2011 season and will be eligible to participate during the Fall of 2012.
Keely spent his prep career playing for Colaiste Ide, the same storied pro- gram that produced head coach Richie Grant. Keely played the midfield and defender positions during his prep career in Ireland.
In his spare time, Keely enjoys eating, hanging out, watching tv and flicking beans.
