Senior Cody McCoy finished his collegiate playing career having played in 66 matches, with 61 starts. McCoy's steady presence in the midfield was instrumental in the Tigers' resurgence. He started every match and played 1,621 minutes. McCoy recorded three assists on the season, including assists on the game-win- ning goals against FIU and No. 9 Central Florida.
Following the Tigers' runner-up finish in the Hotels at Grand Prairie Classic, hosted by Bradley University, McCoy was named to the All-Tournament Team. The Knoxville, Tenn., native was also named to College Soccer News' list of "Team Linchpins – Indispensible Players," as "a player whose efforts don't necessarily show up in the statistics but who is indispensible to the team and who has a big impact on the team's performance."
